Ian Patton, representing Inner Circle Track Club and a graduate of Clackamas High in Oregon, placed second in the men's 17-18 javelin throw final with a personal-best 184 feet (56.09m) in the fifth round at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Sacramento State.
